There was vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and branch-trimming on Sunday all in preparation for our 40th anniversary celebration at St. Barnabas. We’re planning to have the service of Holy Eucharist at 11am at the outside altar with a festive potluck lunch afterwards in the parish hall.
We invite you to be part of this special day with us. Whether you have just discovered St. Barnabas or are a long-time member, an active participant or someone who has been hanging out on the fringes, we welcome you to be with us in this house that provides a place for health, healing and hope with unconditional love.
And a heads up to those who have been tuning into our Facebook livestream: our internet connection doesn’t reach our outside altar. We do plan to record the service and put it up later in the day on our YouTube channel and Facebook. So you can wait to see the service later. Or, better yet, come and join us on Bemiss Road in Valdosta!
